Imago (Blackthornprod Build)

This is the build of Imago that was completed at the end of a 3 week long Blackthornprod competition. This game was built in a very short development cycle and there are many known issues with it. The RNG can either make it really easier or frustratingly difficult, the UI is a mess, it's kind of janky sometimes, and there may be bugs.

I am currently in the process of overhauling Imago, with a new art style and structure for a full steam release, but enough people asked for a way to access this version of the game, so here it is! This is the version of the game I submitted for round 3 of the competition, and it remains untouched since the competition ended.

You are caught in a deadly blizzard. To escape, you must harness the power of magical bugs, which grant you special platforming abilities and allow you to traverse the harsh landscape and outrun the blizzard. You may cocoon your bugs, which briefly incapacitates them, but they will ultimately grow stronger when they return. Gain enough "spare time" to metamorphose and escape the blizzard for good.
